Sam Goody's Galleria store was one of the last built using the angled pink and neon design concept, which was dropped in 1994. I believe this store closed in 2002, when then-owner Best Buy closed dozens of stores due to "low sales of prerecorded music."

The storefront was later used as an art gallery, indoor mini golf, and Toys'R'Us Express. The store remains largely intact, including its neon, silver pillars, ceiling structure, and flooring.
